How Does Nonsurgical Skin Tightening Work?
Once you have been led back to one of our private treatment rooms, you will be asked to relax in a treatment chair where we will prepare the skin being treated, which can include the application of a local anesthetic. During the session, a handheld device that emits energy from ultrasound waves will glide over your skin. Based on the number of areas you are getting treated, your procedure may last about 1 – 2 hours. It is normal for your skin to be mildly red and inflamed. You can use cold compresses and over-the-counter pain relievers to decrease pain and inflammation. Following your treatment, you are free to apply cosmetics and return to your daily routine.
